          Software Engineer

          GENERAL FUNCTION: As a member of an agile squad, responsible for implementing new features and enabling capabilities using modern software engineering tools and practices. Adheres to practices andstandards, set by communities of practice, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement. Shares responsibility and accountability for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions,elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Doing the rightthing for customers and colleagues ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevatingconcerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for alwaysdoing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves resultsby consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

          DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:. Implement new features while maintaining overall quality of software. Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as adeveloper on an agile squad. Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating incode reviews, and sharing knowledge. Remain current on relevant technology trends. Participate in researching and resolving customer issues. Other duties as assigned

          SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

          MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: • Full lifecycle application development • Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) • Software modeling and simulation • Front end graphical user interface design • Software testing and quality assurance • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation. • Support, maintain and document software functionality • Integrate software with existing systems • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation • Maintain standards compliance • Implement localization or globalization of software • Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
